IBAC is  the leader in the Reclamation of FIBC's in North America. Many years ago we realized that the Semi Bulk Bag (FIBC) market had a need beyond bags and equipment. Bags were being used once and put into landfill, while we felt that the bags were structurally built for more than one trip. 

Not only would the production facility realize a cost savings but the end-user downstream would also benefit through less landfill. By becoming more environmentally proactive through landfill reduction we all win. IBAC has a cradle to grave to cradle philosophy - your bags are Reclaimed for use by the same facility, company, and product that was in the bag on the first trip. When the bag no longer is deemed safe for reuse we have it melted down to make new plastic pellets for another sustainable application. Through this dedicated cycle, we can all be proactive. 
  

Facility

IBAC's main facility and home office located in Conroe, Texas. (north of Houston)

Initial Inspection

During this stage your bags are inflated and inspected with an internal light source. We isolate those bags that can be processed and those that should be rejected.

Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance is just that at ibac - 'Assurance'. We firmly believe that quality is an upstream effort, and is part of all phases of the process.

Repair 

All repairs are customized to fit your company policies on safety and any other application concerns. We have the technology and equipment to perform a complete range of repairs from pouch replacement to body cuts. All of our repairs are QA checked. What is repaired and how much repair is completed is defined by the custom protocol for your company and application.  

Laundering

  IBAC has the largest and most advanced washing facility in the business. Our washer has its own on board  microprocessor, which enables us to set the exact washing elements for your bag. Not all bags are laundered the same. From cycle times, rinse sequence, wash duration, to length and degree of extraction – all this and more is fully programmable to suit your particular protocol.

Automated Drying

To complement our washing facilities, we have a 1,680 square foot drying room with a fully automated drying system. Our drying facility enables us to keep the cycle moving, suffering no downtime waiting for bags to dry.  The drying room is climate controlled to the exact relative humidity for the type bag being dried.

Final Inspection

Bags are inspected again at our folding tables. We utilize a unique inspection system developed at ibac to ensure that every bag is acceptable.

Team leaders and staff meet weekly to discuss protocols - Each project has a dedicated protocol and team leader.
