Reclamation Process Overview
Initial Inspection
During this stage your bags are inflated and inspected with an internal light source. We remove all residual product and isolate those bags that can be processed from those that should be rejected per your protocol requirements.
Laundering
For those bags requiring this service, IBAC has the largest and most advanced washing facility in our industry. Our washers have on board microprocessors that enable us to set the exact washing protocol for your bag. Not all bags are laundered the same. Cycle time, rinse sequence, wash duration and the length and degree of extraction are each programmable for your particular protocol.
Automated Drying
IBAC has developed a unique automated drying system that allows us to dry large quantities of bulk bags in a short period of time, without compromising the strength and integrity of your bags.
Stage Two Inspection
All bags are thoroughly inspected again at our backlit inspection tables to determine if they are ready for reuse or in need of repair.
Repair
We have the technology and equipment to perform a complete range of repairs from pouch replacement to body cuts. Our repair methods have been independently tested to meet and exceed your bulk bags specified safety factor requirements.
Quality Assurance
In addition to the multiple inspections that happen throughout the process, our Quality Assurance Team pulls random samples at each stage to insure ongoing protocol compliance.
Getting Started
MSDS Approval
It will be necessary to evaluate your MSDS in order to determine the environmental and workplace impact of the materials being transported in the bags.
FIBC Evaluation
We will need to review the specifications of each bag under consideration for Reclamation. It would also be helpful if you sent a sample bag to assist our staff in this process.
Protocol Development
We will work together with your staff to develop a custom protocol specifying the level and degree of services required for each of your specific applications.
